What does a yacht charter broker do that I can’t do myself online?

A yacht charter broker does the matching a booking website can’t: pairing the group with the right yacht, captain, and chef, not just an available one. Online listings rarely show crew personality, chef style, or whether a catamaran’s cabin layout actually suits two couples and a grandparent. Brokers do. They inspect yachts at charter shows, keep notes on which crews excel with kids, and know when a listed boat is stale inventory. They also handle the unglamorous parts: contract terms, escrowed payments, provisioning preferences, and itinerary planning. The service costs the guest nothing extra: the yacht owner pays the commission, so pricing matches booking direct. The full mechanics are covered in how a charter broker works.
