How do you get to the British Virgin Islands for a yacht charter?

The fastest way to the BVI is fly to St. Thomas (STT), USVI, then take the ferry across to Tortola. STT has direct flights from JFK, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Newark, and a handful of other US hubs. The ferry from Red Hook on St. Thomas to West End on Tortola is a 45-minute crossing, $50 USD one-way, running roughly every two hours. The alternative is a connection through San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) onto a small Cape Air or Silver Airways flight directly into Tortola’s Beef Island airport (EIS) β€” faster but more expensive. A handful of private charter flights connect Antigua and St. Maarten to EIS for guests routing through other Caribbean hubs. The BVI page maps the route.
