How do you get to the Bahamas for a yacht charter?

Most Bahamas yacht charters embark at Nassau (NAS), Marsh Harbour (MHH) in the Abacos, or Staniel Cay (TYM) in the Exumas. Nassau handles the largest international flow with direct flights from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, New York, and Toronto — usually under three hours from US East Coast hubs. Marsh Harbour serves the northern Abacos charters with direct flights from Florida via American Eagle and Bahamasair. Staniel Cay’s small airstrip takes private charter flights and a handful of Watermakers Air scheduled hops from Fort Lauderdale; most Exumas-bound guests fly into Nassau and take a one-hour ferry or charter flight onward.
