How do you reserve a yacht charter?
Reserving a yacht charter starts with a broker inquiry and ends with a signed contract plus the first 50% deposit. The five steps: brief the broker (group size, dates, destination, budget); review the broker’s shortlist of two or three yachts that match; pick the yacht and request a hold (locks it off the market for 7β10 days); sign the MYBA contract; wire the 50% deposit to the broker’s escrow account. The yacht is then officially booked. The remaining 50% is due eight weeks before the charter. APA gets paid 14 days out. The whole sequence usually takes 7β14 days from first inquiry to signed contract. Vital’s booking page kicks off the inquiry.
