How do you get to the US Virgin Islands for a yacht charter?
Fly direct to Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on St. Thomas β the only Caribbean port the US treats as a domestic flight. No passport is required for US citizens (a Real ID or driver’s license works), and there are no customs forms on the way in. Direct flights from JFK, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Newark, Boston, and Chicago land in roughly three to four hours. American, Delta, JetBlue, and Spirit all serve STT. St. Croix has its own airport (STX) with direct flights from Miami and Atlanta, useful for south-coast charters or guests starting in Christiansted. St. John has no airport β guests fly into STT and take the 20-minute ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay. USVI charter routes stage from STT or STX.
