Our voyage onboard the catamaran Timaiao2 from Bequia to Grenada was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Jaro knows the region perfectly, helped us discover beautiful landscapes and beaches by regularly asking us about our wishes. Anouk treated us to her delicious dishes and accompanied us on the snorkeling outings. We had a great time spending the week with these very pleasant hosts. We highly recommend this experience, which will remain an unforgettable part of our trip.

We absolutely loved our experience on the Timaiao2 catamaran with Jaro and Anouk. There were four of us for a 7-night stay. The cabins were comfortable, and we loved falling asleep to the gentle rocking of the waves.
Each day, we visited a different island or bay, and the transfers were pleasant and efficient thanks to Captain Jaro, who made sure we saw the most beautiful spots in the Grenadines in a safe and reassuring way. Anouk prepared delicious meals for us and showed us some magnificent snorkeling sites! Her good humor, dedication, and kindness will stay with us forever.

We traveled aboard the Timaiao 2 with Jaro and Anouk for 5 days and 4 nights in January 2026. We and our 2 young adult sons had a wonderful time, as we spent each night in a different harbor and each day explored a new island. Jaro knew exactly where the good snorkeling was. They were very kind and welcoming people and created an incredibly relaxing experience for us for 5 days. The Timaiao was not a luxurious yacht, but we always felt safe aboard the catamaran and our needs were always met. One of the best parts about being on the Timaiao was disconnecting from the world and connecting with nature. We stargazed at night and swam with sea turtles and spotted eagle rays during the day. We read lots of books, played lots of games, and took lots of naps. Highly recommend!

From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even greeting us shortly after their previous guests departed so we could make the most of every moment of our charter. St. Vincent and the Grenadines are absolutely breathtaking. While the Timaiao 2 isn’t a luxury yacht filled with fancy extras or unnecessary frills, it’s precisely the simplicity of the experience that makes it stand apart. Life on the water, the stunning islands, and the pure relaxation of not having to think about a single meal or snack allowed us to slow down and truly enjoy uninterrupted, meaningful time together as a family. Paired with such exceptional hosts, it created an experience that felt authentic, deeply special, and a trip that will be very hard to top.

From the moment we stepped aboard Timaiao 2, it felt less like arriving on a boat and more like coming home. Jaro and Anouk have created something truly special – a space that is effortlessly comfortable, familiar, and welcoming in a way that immediately puts you at ease. Within hours, the boat felt like ours, and by the end of the trip it felt impossibly hard to leave.

Our recent 9-day sailing trip with Jaro and Anouk aboard their magnificent catamaran, Timaiao 2, from Saint Vincent to Grenada, was nothing short of a dream come true. We encountered some spirited winds, refreshing rains, and exhilarating waves, every moment on the open sea was an absolute joy and a testament to the incredible experience they provide.

From the moment we stepped aboard, Jaro and Anouk made us feel incredibly welcome, transforming what could have been just a vacation into a truly personalized and heartwarming adventure. Their meticulous planning shone through in every aspect of our journey. The itinerary was perfectly crafted, taking us to the most amazing islands and cays, including the breathtaking Tobago Cays, the serene Chatham Bay, the charming Bequia, and the vibrant Union Island. Beyond the stunning destinations, it was Jaro and Anouk’s genuine hospitality and expertise that truly made this trip exceptional. They were incredibly helpful with suggestions for activities at each stop, ensuring there was something for everyone in our family. Our son, in particular, thrived under Jaro’s guidance, learning the ins and outs of sailing and life on the open seas – an invaluable experience he will cherish forever.

The culinary journey was equally impressive. We were perfectly fed with delicious meals throughout the trip, and our daughter even enjoyed a delightful dessert cooking lesson, adding a sweet touch to our memories. The thoughtful gesture of a “sleepy tea” and a bite of a sweet treat each evening was just one of many small touches that made us feel pampered and cared for.

The accommodations on Timaiao 2 were impeccable – comfortable, cozy, and truly felt like a home away from home. We felt as if we were staying with family, which speaks volumes about the warm and inviting atmosphere Jaro and Anouk cultivated.

The Polachek family boarded Timaiao 2 as clients for the week, but we reluctantly disembarked as family. Our evening chats, filled with laughter and shared stories, will always be a cherished memory. We will forever remember our time onboard and eagerly look forward to our next connection with Jaro and Anouk. We know we will always be friends, and we’re quite sure our son will find a way to surprise Jaro in Norway at some point!

In March, 2025 We had an unforgettable exciting adventure sailing with Capt. Jaro and Chef/First Mate Anouk on the Timaiao 2. Their attention to all detail and warm, friendly personalities made us feel at home the first moment we stepped on board. They are so knowlegeable about the area and shared with us their love of the Grenadines. We enjoyed pristine beaches, snorkeling spots and local restaurants. Anouk is a fabulous chef and kept us well fed on the boat. She would join us on our daily snorkeling and point out sea life or tell stories of the area. What we thought was going to be an amazing trip on the Timaiao 2 in March 2025 turned out to be way beyond amazing, thanks to Jaro and Anouk.

From the responsive communication that started almost a year in advance planning out details such as menus, itineraries, required documents and tips in general. The crew of the Timaiao2 instilled a sense of security and trust prior to our sail.

Once we had the privilege of seeing the Timaiao 2 and meeting Jaro & Anouk in person, they proved to be knowledgeable and beyond capable of delivering a safe and comfortable journey from St.Vincent to Grenada for our family.

Everyday in the morning Capt. Jaro would discuss the days itinerary and what the weather and time would permit over a great breakfast prepared by Chef and First Mate Anouk.

We are a family of four with our two kids ages 13 and 11. We were always comfortable and well fed and hydrated. Anouk did an incredible job when it came to preparing food for our picky eaters.
She also was an amazing underwater guide sharing her vast experience of the area and showing us all there was to see.

I could go on and on about what an amazing experience our family had while onboard the Timaiao 2 with Jaro and Anouk. But you should book a trip and see for yourself.

Over 40 years ago we lived in Grenada and enjoyed a sailing trip up the Grenadines on a mono-hull sailboat. We wanted to recreate this trip sailing from Grenada to Saint Vincent with friends. We boarded Timaio 2 in Grenada, greeted by Captain Jaro Hollan and Chef Anouk Sylvestre. Over a glass of champagne, they reviewed the rules and safety aspects of the boat and asked us what kind of experience we wanted on the trip. We wanted to visit Carriacou, Union Island, Tobago Cays and Bequia. We sailed to those islands, in addition Jaro thought we should experience other special places in the Caribbean: snorkeling Grenada’s Underwater Sculpture Park, Sandy Island, Mayreau, Thompson Island, Canouan, and Mustique all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Life on the boat was pleasant, meals were prepared to our tastes and were delicious.This trip vastly exceeded our expectations, we shared stories, laughed and enjoyed a wonderful vacation. We began the trip as strangers but parted as friends.

More than safe, our comfort was always considered by Jaro and Anouk, whenever we encountered stronger winds or rainstorms during the trip. Finally, more than staff, Jaro and Anouk have become family! They are fun, worldly, engaging and caring individuals who love what they do and look forward to sharing that passion with their guests!

My mom wanted to go on a sailing trip to celebrate her 80th birthday. She said it was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime for her. Hello, we would like to send a lot of thanks and greetings to our friends Anouk and Jaro, who took and guided us during two weeks of vacation on Timaiao2 in April 2024. It was an absolutely great experience, going across charming Grenadines islands. For us it was the first time in this location with such awesome people. They show us nice areas, with beautiful sandy beaches and nature, glamorous sea life with multivariates fishes, turtles, rays with a lot of information about it. We had an excellent time together, a really good mood, we were happy with Anouk’s excellent cuisine, and we spoke and enjoyed all, that we experienced together. I hope that we will go again to discover islands unknown to us soon, and we can highly recommend this holiday.

We had a joyous week with Jaro and Anouk. We sailed downwind from St. Vincent to Grenada, which we highly recommend. Snorkeling with huge turtles and manta rays, stargazing from the trampoline on the bow, listening to the reggae music on shore, and swapping stories with Anouk and Jaro were some of our favorite moments. Both Jaro and Anouk took the time to go ashore with us to show us great spots to eat and point out hikes. We had an absolutely fabulous week and would highly recommend it to anyone adventurous. Our only complaint was that we wanted more time in each location. A week is not long enough!! We will always cherish our happy memories in the Grenadines and look forward to returning some day.

AMAZING is the best word to describe our sailing charter with Jaro and Anouk. We had 2 couples and 1 teenager for 8 nights and sailed Grenada and the Grenadines and then back. The boat is perfect for this number of people and the experience was simple perfect. Jaro and Anouk have so much experience in the area and took us to some great snorkeling spots, private, pristine beaches, and amazing food in between. Our entire group loved it. Jaro and Anouk work great together as a team. He is an expert captain and she is an amazing chef and tour guide. They both made us all feel very safe always and comfortably at home in their home. They have the best client service I could imagine and this is saying something being on a boat together 24×7. Truly amazing and can’t wait to do another trip with them.

My husband and I had the pleasure of sailing with Captain Jaro and his First Mate/Chef/Partner, Anouk, on their ctamaran, Timaiao 2. What a first rate and lovely journey we had! They picked us up in Soufriere, St. Lucia and we proceeded to island hop for 10 days through the windward islands and end in Grenada.
Our 10 days of sailing could not have been better: Jaro is an experienced sailor and always had our safety and happiness as his first priority. As did Anouk – she is a gourmet cook and spoiled us terribly by creating lovely dishes and following our food preferences. She enthusiastically hiked and snorkeled with us, and both she and Jaro know the best stops for everything. The best part of the trip was our camaraderie with this couple! We feel that we will be friends forever. They are a pleasure to be with – joking and witty and HAPPY and pleasant to each other as well. We plan to find them somewhere in the Caribbean next year and join them again. We can’t say enough good things about this experience!

We sailed with Captain Jaro and Chef Anouk for eight nights, starting at St. Lucia, traveling south towards St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and back to St. Lucia. We had an absolutely amazing time on the boat with Jaro and Anouk! This was our first ever charter experience, and it will certainly not be our last!
Each night after a delicious dinner prepared by Chef Anouk, Jaro sat with us and reviewed the plans for the following day. He made sure to incorporate our preferences and did not disappoint! We found beautiful beaches and waterfalls, ate at the coolest local spots and enjoyed the entire sailing experience. It is clear that Jaro is an experienced captain and we were in good hands! By the end of the trip, we were more knowledgeable about sailing in the Caribbean, had many deliciously prepared local meals and gained two friends.

We left from Grenada and embarked on a 10 day adventure on a 38 ft Catamaran that took us to the Grenada Underwater Statues as well as Tobago Cays, Bequia, Canouan , Union Island and St. Lucia.
We were taken care of on the Timaiao 2 by Captain Jaro and his partner and Chef Anouk! Incredible people that ensured our safety was paramount and that our food was delicious!
Some of our highlights were swimming & snorkeling with Turtles and sting rays, beach BBQ’s, mud baths, hiking to waterfalls and meeting all the locals at the different islands!!!!

Our charter on Timaiao 2 catamaran with Jaro Hollan and Anouk Sylvestre was fantastic. They were forthcoming, hospitable and caring. Jaro took us to his favorite places in Grenadines accommodating at the same time our desires and wishes, and Anouk adapted her dishes to a personal taste of each guest on board. We are very happy our hosts were the owners of Tiamiao 2 captain Jaro and chef Anouk.

My wife and I booked with Jaro and Anouk on their Lagoon 40 for 2 weeks. We boarded in Martinique on February 25th and ended in Grenada on March 11th. We visited St. Lucia with stops at Rodney Bay and Soufriere then sailed to islands of Bequia, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, Canouan, Union, Petit St. Vincent, Mopion, Carriacou, Round Island, and two stops in Grenada.

It was a trip of a lifetime, and I highly recommend these guys! Jaro’s knowledge of restaurants, snorkeling sites, anchorages, customs and passport processing, and island contacts made our trip effortless. Anouk always had breakfast with coffee and fruit ready as well as lunch and dinner. She also was happy to snorkel with us and accompany us on various day trips. It is safe to say that we consider them friends and we plan on doing Martinique north next winter.

Hello!! On behalf of the entire group from the Czech Republic, I thank you for the sensational Caribbean cruise on catamaran Timaiao 2. We were looked after wonderfully. We really liked the professional and at the same time very friendly approach of Captain Jaro, who always adapted the cruise to both the current weather and safety, as well as our desire to see the most beautiful places of this paradise.
The route was always planned 1-2 days in advance. So we knew what to expect and what to look forward to, with multiple route options to choose from each time. The captain always tried his best to accommodate all our wishes.
Thanks also to the wonderful Anouk, who prepared fresh food on board every day, tailored to our tastes and needs. My vegetarianism wasn’t a problem either, on the contrary, I checked out some of Anouk’s recipes myself, because her food was really great. In conclusion, I would like to appreciate the incredible patience of both Jaro and Anouk, because sharing one catamaran for 14 days with our noisy, very cheerful, dancing, all-nighter group must have been difficult. Thank you for your incredible tolerance, friendliness and simply for allowing us to really enjoy it to the fullest.
