Captain Ask Johansson brings extensive offshore experience, disciplined seamanship, and a genuine love of life at sea to every charter. With more than 13,000 nautical miles logged as skipper, including a transatlantic crossing, he has spent over two full years continuously at sea while navigating throughout Europe and the Caribbean.
His experience spans both sailing yachts and larger motor vessels, giving him a versatile understanding of vessel handling, passage planning, and life onboard. Holding an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore 200 GT certification along with STCW safety qualifications, Ask places safety, preparedness, and smooth operations at the center of every voyage.
Before his professional yachting career, Ask served for three years in an elite military unit, an experience that strengthened his discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high standards in boat handling, seamanship, and vessel upkeep.
On charter, Ask enjoys creating experiences that feel adventurous, relaxed, and tailored to each guest. Whether finding a secluded beach, guiding guests to a hidden snorkeling spot, or anchoring in a quiet bay, his goal is to help every charter feel memorable and effortless.
Away from the helm, Ask is an avid fisherman and diver, as well as a passionate cook who especially enjoys preparing fresh seafood. His love for the ocean, practical experience, and calm, capable approach make him a welcoming and confident presence onboard.
