How would you describe your yacht? Was the yacht comfortable and clean? Well ventilated? Sufficient Shade? Sufficient Space to relax?:
This is our second time on the Leopard 50. We really appreciate the layout and the ability to walk through the galley to the front of the boat. It also never felt cramped even with 8 guests. There was ample shade and when we were at anchor, Nick added to the shade by pulling out a shade cover on the top of the bridge. It is very clean when we arrived and Nick & Luka kept it spotless throughout our charter. The new owners have made a good thing even better through a lot of their new touches. From the linens, bedding, decorative pillows and accents, as well as the quality soaps and shampoo, the upgrades were noticeable throughout.
How would you describe your crew? Were they courteous? Helpful? Friendly? Attentive? Knowledgeable? Accompanied you on your activities/land excursions? Wore uniforms and acted professionally?:
Simply put, if one has any issues with Nick, Luka or Maddie, that is the guests issue and not the crew. We felt as if we were sailing with new found friends (in Luka’s case an old friend as we sailed with him last year). They were incredibly attentive to what was needed and generally got something before we asked. They went with us on most excursions and could not have been more helpful in arranging dinners ashore, massages or transportation. Nick was a master at the helm. Very relaxed in his demeanor but confident in his abilities. Several in our group are “foodies” and Luka was always interested in sharing his cooking techniques and ideas for making delicious dishes. They were always wearing Salty Dog gear but we always felt like they were part of our crew.
Was the food great and well presented? Did the menus meet your expectations? Did your crew pay attention to your preference sheets?:
We had the privilege of having both Maddie and Luka on our charter. Both are exceptional at preparing delicious and nutritious meals in a small galley kitchen. Each had their own personality towards their menus and were conscientious of dietary needs and requests. Both are top notch at what they do.
How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?:
Nick knew exactly the course that was right for us. He chose a few “hot spots” for our group but also the tranquility of a peaceful bay for us to lounge in while watching a beautiful sunset. Nick was never pushing or rushed with our schedule yet we were always on time.
Additional comments about the yacht and the crew?:
Getting to know Nick and Lika better was part of our charter experience. They are truly good people that have a love of serving others in their DNA. We cannot say enough good things about how they both integrated professionalism and safety with warmth and laughter that truly made this a memory making trip. We plan to do this again and our top priority will be to seek out where Nick and Luka are chartering.

In the future, would you consider : Book the same Yacht again, Follow the crew onto another yacht. Any additional thoughts about your charter experience?:
Top notch company from booking through arriving through going home. We did use the concierge service with Nick and he did a great job for our embarkation from Red Hook. We were fortunate to return to Red Hook on Salty Dog this year. Last year we embarked on St Thomas and returned the same. That is the only wish we would have for future charters.
