Our 6-day sail on Luna Bliss was an unforgettable adventure that took us to some of the most beautiful and exciting locations in the Caribbean. The itinerary, planned by the amazing Captain Sofia, and the menu, crafted by our spectacular chef Jenine, made for an incredible experience.
We had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scenery, as well as thrilling activities such as snorkeling and jumping off the top of Willy T’s pirate ship.
About the boat and crew:
Luna Bliss was a spacious and well-equipped 47 ft catamaran with plenty of room for our group of 4 couples. There were many places to hang out, including the bow of the boat, the upper deck, the inside main cabin and outside main decks. The boat was also equipped with a tablet that comfortably fit 8 adults, as well as full snorkel gear, 2 paddleboards, and a water mat to lounge on. Beach towels were provided for everyone, and there were multiple clips to hang dry towels and any wet clothes that needed drying.
The crew, consisting of Captain Sofia and Chef Jenine, were absolutely amazing. Captain Sofia and Chef Jenine were not only amazing in their respective roles but also in the way they interacted with us. Sofia was not only strong, fearless, and knowledgeable, but also kind and fun, making sure everyone on board was comfortable and having a great time. Chef Jenine, was kind, sweet, fun and attentive, creating delicious meals that were a highlight of the trip. Together, they took care of us and made sure that our needs were always met. It was clear that they are passionate about what they do, and it showed in the way they carried out their duties with professionalism and grace.
The crew tidied up anything we had left behind each night and provided a small basket with any random things left around so that we could easily and conveniently find our things. Our rooms were tidied each morning by the crew, with the bed made and garbage emptied to make each day convenient for us to use the cabin.
About the locations:
During our trip, we visited some incredible locations in the Caribbean. We started at St. John’s in Caneel / Maho bay – a stunning location with crystal clear waters and pristine beach. We also enjoyed a beach day at Jost van Dyke, where we had an absolute blast at the famous Soggy Dollar Bar and danced the night away at Foxy’s. Another highlight of the trip was our visit to Virgin Gorda, where we explored the famous Baths during the day and had an unforgettable dining experience at Cocomaya at night. Finally, we ended our trip at Water Island, where we enjoyed the Dinghy Bar, the beach, and some excellent snorkeling.
About the vibe:
The atmosphere on the boat was relaxed and comfortable, and Sofia and Jenine were able to navigate the personalities of all passengers and guests with ease, connecting with each of us in their own way. Overall, our trip on Luna Bliss was an unforgettable adventure, thanks in large part to the incredible boat and crew, as well as the amazing locations we visited.
