I would give six stars if I could!
We had an amazing trip to the Virgin Islands thanks to the &Beyond crew. Chris, Lida, and JD are a phenomenal team who truly did go beyond our expectations.

They were friendly, professional, and made every effort to ensure that this vacation was one for the books.
The boat was beautiful and well maintained.
Excursions were a blast.
I cannot recommend them enough!

Teared Up Saying Farewell

Captain Chris was so good a navigating and communicating and giving us a few options each day. And he was so fun and lively and took the kids on sunset skiing activities.

The boat was clean well maintained and with plenty of sport activities.

Lida blew us away with every meal. All from fresh ingredients and never seemed stressed and was beautifully presented and sometimes did kids meals when needed. She was phenomenal and even my husband who is trained chef was throughly impressed.

JD was always helpful in every way and added the extras and was always there to make sure we were comfortable or needed anything at all and a great helper for Lida and Chris.

We also received a memorable poster which showed the sports we stopped. We will frame it.
We would love to hopefully do this again (maybe somewhere different) and I think the crew made it so worth it!
I teared up saying farewell and our daughter cried at the airport not wanting it to end.

How would you describe your yacht? Was the yacht comfortable and clean? Well ventilated? Sufficient Shade? Sufficient Space to relax?
The yacht was wonderful. It seemed to be in very good condition, was clean the entire time we were aboard, and had more room than we anticipated for relaxing, lounging, etc.

How would you describe your crew?
The crew was awesome! They were not only very friendly but their attentiveness exceeded our expectations. Chris did a great job recommending/executing activities and excursions and JDs drinks were superb, especially the espresso martinis 🙂

Was the food great and well presented? Did the menus meet your expectations? Did your crew pay attention to your preference sheets?
The food was also outstanding! Lida provided a great variety and everything she made was outstanding, especially the chocolate and peanut butter birthday cake! She definitely paid attention to the preference sheets and I know everyone in the group ate very well during our trip.

How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?
We all felt like the charter had a great mix of relaxation and activities. Those of us who got to scuba dive really enjoyed the dives Chris took us on.

Additional comments about the yacht and the crew?
Our charter far exceeded our expectations. We all had such a great time thanks in large part to the crew. We would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a vacation like this and we’re already talking about doing it again. Especially if we can have the same crew!

Was it easy to travel to and from your yacht?: Yes

Did you like the area you chartered in?: Yes

In the future, would you consider : Charter again, Book the same Yacht again, Follow the crew onto another yacht
It was such a great experience. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to do it again.

The Huntress is a great yacht. Very roomy and clean. We especially enjoyed the covered top deck, where we spent most of our time.

How would you describe your crew? Were they courteous? Helpful? Friendly? Attentive? Knowledgeable? Accompanied you on your activities/land excursions? Wore uniforms and acted professionally?:
The crew was great. All were very friendly and attentive. Chris was a great captain. He communicated very well with us, reviewing the itinerary every day. Lida was a great chef. JD made sure we always had whatever we needed.

Lida did a great job with all the meals. The food was great and presented well. The menus met our expectations and it was clear the crew had paid attention to our preference sheets.

How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?:
Having chartered last year, we were fine with a slower pace than last year. We did all the activities we had expected to do, including driving the new Miles at Anegada!

Additional comments about the yacht and the crew?:
Again, the yacht and crew were great. We would definitely charter this boat and crew again, but probably in a different
location.

having been to the BVI’s before, we knew what to expect with the beautiful water, scenery and snorkeling, what we did not expect was the absolutely fantastic, over the top service and gourmet meals three times a day. The three of your work incredibly well together.
Lida, your culinary skills are fantastic!
Chris your knowledge and skill as a captain can only be topped by your engaging and friendly personality.
JD, what can I say…you look after every need and beyuond with graciousness, professionalism, and always a smile!
Lindy would still like to adopt you as a younger brother.
We feel we have made three wonderful new friends. We wish you all the very bestof luck in your lives and careers.

Exceptional! Outstanding! Experience of a lifetime! There are no words to accurately
describe this amazing week full of friends, laughter, beauty, adventure and relaxation.

Was the crew professional, accessible and accommodating?_
Yes, Chris, Lida and JD very much had a service mindset while conveying love for their
work and engagement in providing us with a fun and memorable experience. We enjoyed
getting to know them and appreciated their attention to detail in every aspect of the trip.

Was the yacht well maintained?
Beautifully maintained. It was meticulous and the crew managed to keep it so in a
magical behind the scenes way.

How did you find the quality and presentation of the meals?
Fabulous! Lida is a very talented chef and she provided us with beautiful, fresh meals
three times a day. She provided a variety of flavors, lovely presentation and paid perfect
attention to any special requests.

Were you satisfied with the cruising itinerary?_
Yes, Chris did an incredible job of presenting options and guidance each day. He
explained the pros/cons of the options as well as the logic behind the itinerary options.
He helped us have the perfect balance of activities and relaxation time.

Do you have future charter plans, and if so, when?
No…but we are recommending it to everyone we know!

Any additional comments on your charter?
Four weeks out from the trip we all feel like the trip was DREAM! Chris, JD and Lida
greatly contributed to our overall experience. It was an absolutely perfect week in
paradise!

They Spoiled Us!

We sailed on The Huntress catamaran with Amazing Captain Chris, lovely Chef Lida and JD who was our butler/ bartender. They spoiled us.

The BVI islands are so beautiful by catamaran. I highly recommend sailing on The Huntress. We look forward to sailing with them again in the future.

Just Magical!

What a wonderful week. Just magical. It is hard to truly relax and just be but you all created a wonderful and safe space where we could do just that. The food, the smiles, the care, the laughter. And everything was so effortless (for us!).

Pampered

On day one, in a text to my family, I let them know of our safe arrival and how we were being luxuriously spoiled. Little did I know that I was going to be pampered and cared for by the 3 of you in a fashion that I have never experienced before.
Although the meals and attention to every need were absolutely above par, it was your genuine kindness and humane regard of each of us that made my time with the 3 of you and experience that would be impossible to duplicate.
Chris, you captain a tight ship, and left me always feeling I was safe. Thanks for the wonderful history lessons and insights to the area and culture of the region that always kept me coming back for more.
Lida, your healthy meal presentations kept us well nourished but were also nourishment for our souls. You are the Queen of Soul Food.
JD, my heart has made a spiritual connection with you in a way I could have never imagined. Your humor and kindness will always be your greatest assets.
