Jess Jervis
Jess | Deckhand & Stewardess
For Jess, life is at its best when it’s spent close to the water.
Raised on New Zealand’s east coast, she has always been drawn to the ocean and the sense of freedom that comes with exploring it. From coastal cruising and yacht deliveries to living aboard while sailing through the Caribbean and Pacific, Jess has built a life around adventure, discovering new places, and embracing whatever the next horizon brings.
Her experience at sea has shaped her into a versatile and capable crew member, equally at home assisting with deck operations as she is creating a warm and welcoming guest experience. Adaptable, proactive, and quietly dependable, Jess approaches every day with enthusiasm and a willingness to help wherever needed.
What guests often notice first, however, is her positive energy. Naturally outgoing and genuinely personable, she has an effortless way of making people feel comfortable and at ease. Whether helping guests discover a hidden snorkeling spot, sharing stories from her travels, or simply ensuring every detail is taken care of, Jess brings a sense of ease and authenticity to life onboard.
An adventurer at heart, she spends her free time surfing, freediving, scuba diving, fishing, and exploring coastlines around the world. Her passion for the outdoors is contagious, inspiring guests to embrace the destinations around them and make the most of every moment.
With a Bachelor of Design Innovation, Jess also brings a creative eye to everything she does. Her background in photography, styling, textiles, and marine sewing translates into a keen attention to detail, helping create the polished yet relaxed atmosphere that makes a charter feel truly special.
For Jess, the best part of any voyage is the people she meets along the way. Her combination of adventurous spirit, thoughtful service, and genuine warmth ensures guests leave not only with incredible memories of the places they’ve visited, but of the people who helped make the experience unforgettable.
