Reserving a yacht charter starts with a broker inquiry and ends with a signed contract plus the first 50% deposit. The five steps: brief the broker (group size, dates, destination, budget); review the broker’s shortlist of two or three yachts that match; pick the yacht and request a hold (locks it off the market for 7–10 days); sign the MYBA contract; wire the 50% deposit to the broker’s escrow account. The yacht is then officially booked. The remaining 50% is due eight weeks before the charter. APA gets paid 14 days out.
