Do you need a visa to visit the BVI?

US, UK, EU, Canadian, and Australian citizens do not need a visa for tourist visits to the BVI under 90 days β€” a passport with at least six months of validity is the only document required. Other nationalities should check the British Virgin Islands government tourism page before booking; about 60 countries qualify for visa-free entry. Charter guests enter through Terrance B. Lettsome International (EIS) on Beef Island, the West End ferry terminal from St. Thomas, or by yacht clearing customs at Soper’s Hole. A return ticket and proof of accommodation (the charter contract works) are sometimes requested at immigration. The BVI charges a $20 tourist exit fee, paid at departure. BVI charter pages include the entry checklist.
