With over two decades of professional maritime experience, Captain Carlos Lopez brings exceptional expertise, leadership, and a passion for the sea to every charter. A dual citizen of Venezuela and Cuba and fluent in both English and Spanish, Captain Carlos is based in South Florida and has spent the majority of his career navigating the waters of Miami, the Caribbean, and especially the Bahamas β€” his area of specialty.

Captain Carlos has an extensive background as a captain and engineer aboard both motor and sailing yachts ranging from 40’ to 130’. He is known for delivering first-class charter experiences, maintaining vessels to the highest standard, and ensuring safety and comfort for all guests aboard.

Charter guests appreciate his calm demeanor, warm personality, and encyclopedic knowledge of Bahamian cruising grounds. Whether it’s a relaxing island escape or an adventure-packed itinerary, Captain Carlos ensures each trip is tailored to perfection. In addition to his strong navigational skills, he is also a certified scuba diver, adding extra value for guests eager to explore underwater destinations.

His hands-on experience in engineering and maintenance ensures vessels run smoothly and efficiently, while his hospitality-first mindset guarantees an enjoyable and memorable charter for all.
