He made his television debut representing the Bahamian Olympic Culinary Team on Bahamas @ Sunrise, later appearing on PBS’s Taste of History, ABC’s Talk of Alabama, NBC, and numerous international media outlets. Jamall is the former host of the popular cooking show Island Flare, which aired for five seasons locally and internationally, showcasing his passion for “farm to table” and “sea to spoon” dining.
In the yachting world, Jamall has served as freelance chef aboard a wide range of vessels from 80′ to 172′, where he consistently delivered bespoke menus tailored to client preferences, including dietary restrictions and themed culinary experiences. Known for his bold Caribbean flavours, fine dining finesse, and warm hospitality, he transforms each meal into a sensory journey.
Beyond his culinary talent, Chef Jamall is also a mentor and community leader. He founded The Food Fight, a non-profit culinary competition for high school students that has awarded nearly $200,000 in scholarships. He has taught masterclasses at Lincoln Culinary Institute and Johnson & Wales, and his dedication to education, mentorship, and excellence continues to inspire both aspiring chefs and seasoned professionals.
