This was our 8th sailing trip in the BVI and we got a premier team with the two of you! We’ve talked about this week as the best week because of the crew, the food, the locations each day, etc! Snorkeling with us, a personal tour of The Baths, Foxy’s with you were all a part that also made the trip so special. You have a home with us when you visit!

This has been the most incredible week! You both are superstars at captaining/hosting on charter. Thank you for every detail, big and small! It didn’t go unnoticed. May you have a fantastic charter ahead and smooth adventures after the season.

What an incredible week! The attention to detail was remarkable — you both compliment each other in caring for your guests. From the sailing, snorkel spots, beach locations, anchor coves overnight to food, food and more food — our stomachs were full, our hearts happy and relaxed. Thank you for all the hard work for making this an adventure our family will remember forever. The beautiful beaches that felt so private along with the tubing were priceless. The food was top notch and we all are going home a few pounds heavier. Don’t forget to go back to see if that octopus has finally let go of that beautiful sea shell. The boys loved fishing off the boat and being able to eat what we caught was a special treat.

Our experience on Dante was nothing short of magical. As someone who dearly loves the Caribbean I was somewhat skeptical of five nights on a boat. I feared motion sickness and tight quarters would be an issue for me, but the boat’s spacious common areas, dual hull design, and captain Brad’s careful attention at the helm (plus a dramamine-at-night regiment) equaled smooth sailing.

Brad and Zoe felt like friends from the moment we stepped aboard, not only ensuring our comfort and safety but also planning unforgettable days at sea. Originally our group had ideas about itineraries and destinations but early on we were comfortable putting our trust in Brad and Zoe’s expertise and recommendations and they did not let us down.

Brad was attentive at reading our group’s appetite for weathering crowds and pivoting plans, restocking the boat bar when necessary, and leading us on excursions.

Zoe’s culinary talents kept a boatful of foodies delighted with fresh, tasty, unique dishes. And their storytelling kept us entertained each night (mostly Brad’s! Ask him about the williwaw).

Favorite thing: sitting on the top deck, listening to music, watching the water/sunset/all of it.
Favorite destinations: Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda Baths (very busy the day we visited, wish we could have stayed longer), Saba Rock, dinner at Wonky Dog (Anegada), snorkeling at Diamond Reef, Marina Cay. Wish we had done more: just hanging out swimming off the back of the boat.

Wow! I don’t know where to begin! The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. The amenities on the boat are top notch, and of course the islands and scenery are beautiful; the hosts Brad and Zoe are the shining stars. We felt like welcome special guests at all times. They were ever present when needed and quietly in the background when we were relaxing. The crew is so important on this sort of vacation, and in that regard PurelyBlu is just perfect and easy. Anyone who boats will understand that there are many variables that can derail plans, but we never felt anything was a bit of trouble or out of reach. Just a special and perfect vacation for our multi-generational group.

Cruising the islands on PurelyBlu for a week was a perfect vacation! Captain Brad and Zoe made the experience — I can’t imagine having anyone take better care of us! I’m sure I gained 5lbs from Zoe’s wonderful cooking, but it was worth it! Brad helped plan our days which included snorkeling, diving, sightseeing, eating & drinking!! Whatever we wanted — they were very hospitable and accommodating! The boat was always pristine and well maintained. I’m hoping I get to do this again with them sometimes — I am so thankful my son and family included me on this wonderful trip!

We had a beautiful week on PurelyBlu. The British Virgin Islands are beautiful and Brad and Zoe were experts at navigating the days of our trip. Whether we wanted a day of relaxing, snorkeling, site-seeing, they had the perfect recommendation everytime! The food was amazing with each meal more creative and better than the last. The careful attention paid to our food preferences left each of our five family members happy. The atmosphere and service enabled us to share special family time we don’t often get. We can’t thank Zoe and Brad enough for curating such a magical trip.

It’s hard to know where to begin but please sit back and enjoy this note almost as much as we enjoyed our trip with Kelsey and Cassie!

Our very first adventure chartering a yacht and this set the standard for all future charters.

From the first call with Kelsey, about a week before departure, we knew we were in good hands…friendly hands…someone who wanted to make this trip special…and boy did she ever.

We arrived in St. Thomas with a text from Kelsey that a car had been arranged to take us to the dock.  (Already, things are being taken care of for us).  Then, we met Kelsey…this happy, warm and caring young woman greeting us with open arms and hugs.  We were instant friends.  We came aboard and met the DELICIOUS Cassie…the chef of chefs.  A brief tour, unpacking, and then the start of 6 unbelievable days beginning with special drinks and appetizers.

Our first dinner was 5 star and it only kept getting better and better.  Cassie managed to make meals that were unique and delicious and beautiful to look at….AND, she navigate around dietary restrictions while managing to serve everyone at the same time.  I gained 8 pounds in 6 days…..I hold Cassie deliciously responsible.

Every day brought a new adventure.  Kelsey guided us through the days activities after breakfast each morning.  We were in her capable and creative hands.  Always going someplace interesting (she knows everything about every inch of the BVI and USVI).

This was an anniversary cruise and birthday cruise gift for my 75 year old husband. These two women made this a trip we will cherish and never forget.  We are already looking into more charters as long as we can be with Kelsey and Cassie, since they are the gold standard and why would we want anyone else.

Oh, and Rachel, the rep for the boat….what a delight.  Navigating me through every step until we settled on the right boat and crew.  She made this first-time adventure something we will HAVE to repeat.

Thank you all.  I could go on and on with every detail but I think you get the picture.  The Kelsey and Cassie show is the only show in town.  I’m still smiling (although 8 pounds heavier).

This was our first ever charter and there will never be another one as great as this one. Captain Kelsey and Chef extraordinaire Cassie made this trip unbelievable. Everything worked brilliantly and we cried when we had to leave. You exceeded our every expectation. We will do this again and hope we get Kelsey and Cassie again…they LOVE what they do. By the way we dined ashore one night and it didn’t compare to Cassie’s cooking. WOW WOW WOW!

The crystal waters you took us to, the painkillers, and Mindy’s gourmet dinner– every detail was perfect! Your passion for sailing and cooking was reflected in every aspect of our trip. We really appreciate the extra touches that both Captain Jabez and Chef Mindy did to help our trip be extra special for our children. Captain Jabez was very hands on showing them all about life on the boat and fun activities for kids. Chef Mindy created delicious meals that encouraged our picky eaters to try new foods and eat more vegetables. So grateful we were blessed with these two!

Where do we begin? A trip of a lifetime. Memories with family and new family (Jabez and Mindy) that we will forever cherish.

Thank you for the attentions, the amazing food, the sunset drinks, very cool and relaxing ambiance. Definitely an experience to remember, to redo, and to recommend.

Chef Mindy prepared such delicious food, we want to take her home with us. She also has such a pleasant personality which only added to our experience.

Literally amazing– all the places we went were sooo pretty and it’s an experience that you can’t just have in your camera roll, it just stays in your heart. The food 11/10, places were a million/10. I would for sure come back– it is a one of a kind place.

Our girls were in awe. They had the absolute best time. They kept saying that they couldn’t believe how beautiful this is. It was a trip of a lifetime at their age.

Colin and Alicia LOVED IT. They said it is the “most bada** thing they have ever done”.

Mindy and Jabez were absolutely great. Captain Jabez was so confident and was just so grounded, a good head on his shoulders and made us all feel super comfortable. When he wasn’t doing his job he was helping Mindy and asked if he needed anything to drink etc. They were an incredible team. The food was fantastic, and beautifully presented! We looked forward to every single meal. (They also loved the SA meal Jabez prepared) 😊

Jabez was great about getting the girls and ourselves up to do activities. Mindy took the kids over one day to Bitter End and hung out with the kids before the adults came over. It was so sweet of her and the girls loved it. They would hang out if we asked them to hang out but also knew when to give space. There was lots of sailing and we felt like we covered so much ground! Jabez was full of great suggestions. The crew even bought them a map and Jabez drew out their route!

14-50 years old and EVERYONE on the boat had an incredible trip.
Can’t wait to do it again!
