Chef Patti and Captain Bryan,
Thank you for an unforgettable week in the BVI! Our families had an incredible time thanks to the both of you! We started to vacation together a few years ago and every trip is an adventure that you all made especially memorable. We are very proud that our teenagers broke your previously held record for snack consumption an that we broke Captain Bryan down to quit “Sober March”. We hope that as you both finish your last charter season that we helped make it just a little more fun with a few extra laughs…just like you all did for us during this trip.

Oh my gosh, we had the best trip ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you Bryan and Patti for making our Island Hoppin experience exceed our expectations! Patti, your skills in the galley were excellent. We loved the amazing flavor we kept swooning over and the perfect variety. That bacon jam OMG!!!! You have a special gift with all of your creations! Bryan, thank you for teaching us the e-foil, making sure we danced at the full moon party, sailing, fishing, chasing rainbows, and making sure we had the best time at all the beaches and lived our best lives at all beach bars! Not even going to mention all the fun at the Willy T. You two make an excellent team, yall are the BEST!

First, let me say thank you for putting up with our crew. I know that we set a lot of “firsts” for you! Hopefully you will talk about this charter for years and have plenty of laughs and stories to share. Second, thank you for giving us an amazing vacation and memories of a lifetime. I could not have imagined any other Captain/Chef combo for this trip. You set the bar so high, I can’t imagine doing it again without you both. From the attention to detail to the perfect itenary, you made this one for the books. I am so sad that this is your last season but I hope that on your next journey in life you make people the amazing memories that you gave us. So excited for you both! I hope you stay in touch with the crazy and unpredictable guests who I am sure kept you on your toes. Again, we can’t thank you both enough for this most memorable trip!

As I look back over the second charter with you and Island Hoppin’, my heart is so full. From the moment we stepped back onboard, it felt less like the start of a vacation and more like picking up right where we left off with people we genuinely care about. You both have such a gift of making every detail memorable, and every experience unforgettable. The adventure filled days of exploring Anegada or dinghying to beach bars, are the kind of adventures we’ll always remember. Patti’s meals are always extraordinary- thoughtful, creative, and made with love. Together you two make every detail feel effortless. Our relationship has grown far beyond guests and crew. We treasure the laughter, the sunsets, the conversations, and the quiet moments anchored in the crystal clear blue waters. We are SO grateful for the memories we have made aboard Island Hoppin and truly hope that the friendship we have created here will continue for years to come.

We just wrapped up an unforgettable week sailing the crystal blue waters of the BVI. We set sail out of Tortola with Captain Bryan at the helm, steady and calm, reading the wind like he’s known it forever. Patti somehow turned the galley into a 5 star kitchen. Fresh fish, incredible meals, something sweet to top it all off, every meal was an occasion. We wrapped it all up at the Soggy Dollar Bar-clothes still damp, painkillers in hand-not wanting the week to end. It was beautiful “Island Hoppin” with you. Thank you for a truly perfect vacation.

Bryan and Patti are the absolute best! As the saying goes, 3rd time is a charm. Not that our first two charters weren’t magnificent, but THIS time we had the Bryan and Patti experience so everything was elevated to a new level. From the meals, drinks, water time, and island excursions, we were deluged with luxury and attentiveness. Every need of ours was anticipated and tended to. We are so grateful. We cannot even begin to thank you enough for the trip of a lifetime. From incredible scuba adventures to many amazing meals, this week exceeded all expectations. Hopefully you’ll now include the infamous “Maryland Orange Crush” in your rotation of cocktails. We had a blast with the E-Foil and had many good laughs watching some epic wipeouts. We also appreciate your patience as some guests continuously asked to drive the dinghy 🙂 This crew is not one that has the opportunity to spend a lot of time together and we cherish every chance we get. We cannot imagine spending this week with a better crew to share in our laughter and memories. Thank you for spending your holidays with us and thank you for your kindness. My daughter kept on me and my wife to book a trip. I was reluctant since we have and have had many boats. However, I have enjoyed this trip immensely! The cooking was amazing and Patti should open a restaurant at some point. Bryan, your scheduling of events like diving, snorkeling, and scenic locations along with attention to detail and comfort was perfect (you could relax more). Wishing you both all the success and vest that life has to offer. You both deserve that and a piece of the happiness you have shared with us and others.

Our first charter was nothing short of magical and our favorite vacation to date. Island Hoppin has everything you need/want, but Bryan and Patti make it special. Perfectly executed itinerary and meals created with so much effort and care. This is the standard to which all future vacations will be measured. So many laughs, lots of sunshine, and maybe a few too many cocktails.
For memories: The stars at night, sunsets, the food!!!, truck tour of Anegada, celebrating our 20th anniversary, and e-foiling. We hope you all are around when we are ready for our next charter, but if not we wish you a lifetime of wonderful memories and good times with friends and family.

One week aboard Island Hoppin was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we stepped on, Captain Bryan and Chef Patti turned our adventure into something extraordinary. Captain Bryan was an incredible guide. Not only taking us to incredibly beautiful beaches, but also ensuring that we went to all of the fun stops ashore as well. His confidence made us all feel safe and well cared for. He patiently answered my many (many!) questions about just about everything and his sense of humor kept us laughing the whole week. Chef Patti is simply a magician in the kitchen! Every meal she prepared was bursting with flavors, and were lovingly crafted from fresh local ingredients. She didn’t just feed us, she created moments around the table that we’ll cherish forever. This trip was more than just a vacation, it was a PERFECT blend of laughter, beauty, and unforgettable memories. Thank you captain Bryan and Chef Patti for creating such a magical week. You guys know that we are already planning a return trip, and we really hope that you will be a part of it! Congratulations in advance on your wedding- we wish you both all the best that life can bring.

Sailing the BVI on this yacht and with this crew has officially set the bar for all future vacations. From Patti’s 5 star meals that made us never want to leave the boat, to Bryan’s expert navigation (both of the seas and his perfectly timed one-liners), every moment was unforgettable. The itinerary was the perfect blend of planning and spontaneity, shifting seamlessly with the weather and leading to one stunning location after another. The fact that the two of you managed to do it all-sailing,cooking, and keeping us all happy with a two person crew was nothing short of magic. Wow-hard to put into words how amazing this week was. Simply put…once (but hopefully not) in a lifetime. You both were without a doubt the best captain/chef/host that we could have hoped for. Charter for 8 pleasing the Carnes, Schopes, Kramps, and Akers. Diving, amazing food on board, pub crawl on Anegada with a fresh lobster dinner to top the day off. The weather was just perfect as was the sailing. We hit Willy T’s, Bitter End, Saba Rock, Loblolly, and Soggy Dollar. This was our sixth time down to BVI, but it never seems to get old or last long enough. Bryan and Patti were the best and this 55 foot yacht was top notch. A cheers to the crew and boat and we hope to get back sooner rather than later!

How lucky we were to have spent the last 8 days in your capable hands! From late nights and mornings to incessant questions, you both handled our antics beautifully.
